Rothschild Learning Services

Marcia D. Rothschild, M. Ed.

Marcia Rothschild is an educator based in the Atlanta area. She holds a Master of Education degree in Special Education and has more than thirty years experience working with both gifted and challenged students and their families. She has co-authored or contributed to several works in her field and has provided instruction and consultative services to individuals of all ages, to parent and professional organizations, and to schools in the areas of learning enhancement, behavior management, and computer literacy as a productivity and life management tool.

Marcia’s approach to education is both pragmatic and compassionate. She applies the best of many educational disciplines to solve a variety of learning problems. She believes that every child can be a successful student and that no child wants to fail or to misbehave. She believes that the humanity of the student outweighs the demands of the curriculum and that students who take responsibility for their own achievement will gain confidence in their own abilities and experience success in learning.

Every student can succeed.

Successful students are able to:

Receive information accurately

Record that information in memory

Retain it over time

Relate it to other facts or concepts

Retrieve it quickly when needed

Report it using effective oral or written communication
